Farm tour taking reservations

VERONA--Tickets are still available for the “Down on the Farm” tour of working farms in northern Augusta County from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 15
   The trip will include visits to local dairy, beef cattle and sheep farmers, as well as to a horse arena and an on-the-farm store.
   Snacks, drinks and a bandana-wrapped lunch are included in the $40 fee.
   The tour is a part of a state-wide celebration of agricultural heritage for the 2007 Jamestown commemoration.
